When using multiple copies of the same actor in a project - which is more advisable?

1. Drag a new Actor into the scene multiple times
2. Just copy an Actor within a scene multiple times

Or does it not really matter?

The only thing to watch with copying within the scene is if you have unlocked the instance. It will also be an unlocked instance. So nothing done to the prototype will be updated within it either.
