One scene or many scenes? I need your advice

Hello!
I really need your advice - I'm making a platform game. I can make all levels on a single scene, but the RAM will be too huge for older devices.
Or, I can make each level on a different scene, but there will be more loading times.

So...
One scene for menu, and one for the game, but only for iPhone 3Gs and newer.
OR
One scene for menu, each level on a different scene (about 8 scenes), and for all devices?

How do you think?

BTW, is there a way to make a game only for iPhone 4?

Thank you!

One level per scene will save you TONS of development time/hassle.

I'd go 3GS and above only, keeping it on 1 scene. The % of users on older phones than the 3GS must be pretty low now and you know how people hate loading times ;)

what if you make like 10 levels per scene.. then you will only have load times once you go to a new world and not every time you complete a level and I think the RAM will be good enough for older devices.

Another good thing is that the iphone 5 is just around the corner so a lot of 3g and 3gs will upgrade to the new model.
