Some game buttons not responding after phone turns off and back on
Hi everyone,
I have a very simple app that deals with reflex response so the game pretty much has a timer that is started by a touch event and is stopped by the accelerometer...
I'm encountering a problem where if the app is turned off while i'm still in the app, i go back in and the start button (a touch event) refuses to work. It never does this in my initial playing of the game.
This is not easily repeatable.. in fact it only seems to happen if the phone is off for an excessive period of time.. at least an hour.. but if i just turn it off and on.. so far i have yet to create the issue.
I even put a game reset button in the app which effectively starts the game over and still the one button refuses to start.. just very odd and i'm not sure how to trouble shoot a behavior like that..
The game has a splash logo scene.. a main menu scene.. a number of in game modes.. I just would think the game reset would be a complete wipe of the game starting it over again.. but maybe it doesn't?
Thanks!
Caleb
