Collision issue

Hey Guys,

I've fairly new to GameSalad. I bought Darren's Fall FU template and have created some art to use in the game instead of using the "walls" that were already in the template. I created several different pieces of art for when I place them onto the stage and place the hero actor on top of the box and hit preview, the actor falls right through the box.

I set up the layers so the box in beneath the hero (don't know if thats relevant or not) and the size of the image is 256x256 saved in 72dpi. I dragged the image into the actor area thinking it would create an actor. I compared the template box actors with the box that I created and all the setting are the same.

Simply put, what do I have to do to make it so the hero can stand onto of the wall actor instead of falling through it?

Have you set a collide rule to tell them to collide with each other.

No I didn't set any rules to the box actor. I just opened the Fall FU template to see what your talking about and none of the boxes that are in that template have any rules within them. So I have no idea where to go from here.

So every box that I place onto the stage area, I have to create a rule to tell them to collide with each other?

No I have not seen the template. There could be a collide rule in the hero. He may have it setup where it does not collide with anything at all. You will have to dig in a little more and try to figure out what is actually happening in that template.
