Touch Accuracy / Detection

I made a simple game where you drag or throw stuff into a can.

I noticed that the touch detection or accuracy is a bit off with game salad. As in, 80% of the time it will 'pick up' the item and allow me to drag it; the 20% of the time, it will not be picked up. It's frustrating.

Anyone?

    I've only noticed that when I have a small item, say 30x30 it's not always responded. I assumes it was because of the size, my finger was missing touching it? Maybe?.....

    Ohh yea of course! Makes more sense than touch as it can be hit and miss.

    I tried it, the problem now is that a swiping motion drags all of the other stuff with the object I'm trying to pick. It doesn't full on drag them, just sort of 'magnetizes' them and collides with the object I want to pick up.
