it'll be here when it's ready. the september goal was just a goal, not a hard date set in stone.

Just cause it was on the roadmap doesn't mean its gonna make the september release. If there even is a September Release. rushing them While hard to resist will likely only end in something being missed like uh cough, cough, 0.9.7, cough, cough. Which lead to a bunch of ppl pissed off at the release. Let hope they back burnered all features and just focused on performance. I mean just a couple weeks ago that what nearly everyone on the forum said they wanted.

Well, I think it's nice to let people know... like a weather forecast or something. I realize that the 10-Day Forecast might not be as accurate as the next-day forecast. But if something is going to significantly change, they should let people know.

If there isn't going to be an update in September, they should post the revised schedule.

I'm working on a pretty cool GameSalad game... and it's almost done. Achievements are nice addition, so should I wait? I don't know. But considering that this game is time-sensitive, I can't delay it on an unknown.

The problem is no matter what people are gonna complain. And for all we know there is gonna be a September release, they still have time.

If they're on schedule, then there's no need to say anything. If they're not on schedule, then they should say something. When GameSalad made Game Center a professional feature, I suggested that GameSalad should warn the community beforehand. They did. I think that helped with community relations. Some people did complain when Game Center was finally added, but I think it was far less complaining than what could have been.

It's the same here. If there's no September update... or some features aren't going to make it... shouldn't the community know? That lets us get our umbrellas ready for the rain.

I remember a yellow line saying "earlier than you d expect" and maybe early September as well...but one thing is for sure the delay will be due to improving loading time issues and ram usage which were not in the roadmap but they were being addressed. They must be already done with in-apps, chrome and achievements etc....In the mean time, I m checking for the update first thing every time i turn the mac on..
