Use PS script to reduce memory size of images

If you use photoshop, using the script/export layers to files reduces the memory size of the images by about a third.
I used this to export Chinese numbers. I went back and edited a few and used Save as and found that their memory size had ballooned.
How to.
Make a duplicate of your final image with layers merged and then create a new layer. Use the script/export layers as files and then delete the extra layer file.
