Best tutorials or learning tools?

Hi- I'd like to create a few game salad step by step tutorials. I am a newbie and find that the best way to learn. There are a few on youtube and I completed the one on the basic shoot em up. It was good but it is two years old. When I go to the tutorials link here on game salad there is a big red x and no content. Can anyone steer me to a good place to learn this cool software in a step by step guided way?
