Hi! I'm a new member who has been playing around with GS for a few months now to see if I could "get it". I can! thanks to the great GS GUI, and wonderful videos and advice I've read from everyone in the forums. I haven't posted before but already feel welcomed. I'm a co-founder of Mapdiva – we make Artboard and Ortelius software for Mac OS – but I'm definitely not the programmer ;) It is amazing GS has made it possible for me to make an app with no coding skills of my own. I appreciate that side of the shop even more now than ever. So it has been great fun working on my very own hobby app (an interactive book) developed on GS and I'm getting ready to publish it. I'll make a post when it is ready. Thanks to everyone for sharing their talent and making my journey possible! – Jill

A warm welcome from London! *waves*

I know what you mean about appreciating 'That side of the shop even more now than ever'!

When my friend Jake and I were making a game, he'd always be coming up with little things and saying 'can we do that?' - at which point I'd sigh and say 'sure'.

I knew how all the coders I'd done that to over the years felt!

    Looking forward to your book!

    QS :D

    Hi Jill,

Welcome to the GS forum! I am also a Hoosier. Grew up in Fort Fun and now live in B-Town. My brother lives in Indy and we will probably be up there this weekend to hit up the Children's Museum!

(Wow, that was fun using all that Indiana Slang on the GS Forums!)

Yes, you can do that can't you? It's just an easy little thing ;D

Thanks for the welcome - I've relied on a lot of your advice through the forum. It was the GS community that attracted me to the platform as much as the platform :)

We're reverse twins! My bro is in b-town. Have fun at the Children's Museum. I can't wait for the haunted house myself.

@scitunes "Lauren, The Tickle-saurus Rex" was the first GS example I found that showed me how a book might be accomplished :) - Jill
