Hi beaudoin, have downloaded the latest (0.8.2) GameSaladViewer and compiled it in xcode and copied it onto your phone, after first deleting the old viewer from your phone?
Once you have done this, you should find that the game works on the phone just as it does in the viewer, which is good for you, but not so good for me, because mine is broke in the viewer and ok on the phone - but I hadn't updated the viewer, so I'm guessing that once I do, my game'll be broke on the phone too! yay!

    You don't have GameSaladViewer?
Go to your profile and click 'Manage iPhone Games' by clicking the orange button on the top right of this page - this link might work??....
    http://gamesalad.com/projects/index
....now you see a big iphone? To the bottom right of the iPhone you will see 'Tools Downloads' - get the latest version of GameSaladViewer, the same version as your Game Salad....0.8.2, yes?
    Unzip it..
Open the .xcode project with xcode
plug your iphone in via usb
Make sure that xcode is going to connect to your phone, in release mode, as opposed to the iPhone Simulator in Debug mode (which is probably defaulted to).
Make sure your provisions are correct...this page should help...
    http://gamesalad.com/wiki/faqs
    links to this page.....
    http://gamesalad.com/wiki/developing_for_iphone:building_gamesalad_viewer#how_do_i_install_the_gamesalad_viewer_on_my_iphone
    ...then, hit 'Build and Run'
Now, you will have the GameSaladViewer on yer iPhone!
    Open your game
Run the GameSaladViewer on your iPhone
Look...now you have an iPhone button right next to the big green play button above your project!!!
    Press it!!!!

    Hope that helps?
    Cheers
    Wayne

hmmm.. makes me wonder though if it works with this viewer (only) how will it work correctly on iPhones that don't have it... if users download form app store.

Well, if anything, it should run faster. I think the viewer itself will take some cpu and memory, so once you compile your game to an actual app, it should be a little more efficient.
If you have 0.8.2 editor, and you test the game with 0.8.2 viewer and then you are happy enough to make the final app, the app will compiled with 0.8.2 compiler, so all should be fine.
The one main advantage of using the viewer is that it's very quick to test on.
How long does it take to compile your app every time you want to test it? Surely it's a bit tedious, no?
The viewer is very quick, well, near instant, no compile time.
