Save/Read attributes

Does the save/read function work properly when viewed on the device or do i have to build a ad-hoc version? I've been over my code several times and cannot figure out why it isn't working so before i pour more time into it i need to know if it should be working, viewing on the iPad.

    Yes it does work well on the viewer. But when exiting the game and opening it again to check if the attributes load correctly, do not transfer the game again. Just open the viewer click recent games and select your games on the list if you placed your load and save behaviors correctly all the levels completed or high scores from before you closed the app should be there. Each time you transfer the game to the device the attributes reset.

    One thing that comes to mind.. When you are typing the "Key" part of the load/attribute behavior click on the little "e" then type the key you want and then click on the check mark.

    Sometimes in my experience if you just type your keys directly it malfunctions. Also make sure the load and save attribute keys are exactly the same ones for each attribute and place all your load behaviors on your very first scene.

    Hey fzeed, I think there's a prob with loading ints that gs said gonna be fixed in the next update

    Yeah, ther's an issue with the Load attribute function...
    Gamesalad support answered me about that, and will be fexed as soon as possible (hope in the next update)
    I'm waiting for that issue to be adressed for my game.

    Very well explained - and if you just use rest it should work on the desktop too.

    yeah I too am having an issue with my load attributes functions. I'll have to look into it more but where is the best place to have it load up high scores for instance? If I have a splash scene after the gamesalad screen or at the high scores scene?

    should it remember the high score in the gamesalad arcade version as well because mine doesn't seem to be doing that either.
