Pro Membership Renewal

I've just had an email telling me that my pro membership is due for renewal but I've never signed up for a pro membership.

I'm not going to be charged or anything am I?

    I get the same e-mail, but I don't have pro :P Are you sure that this is not about paid "free" version from last year?

    Curious, if you signed up for the 99 pro last year, does it renew at that rate or the new rate of 500 ?

    I first signed up January 2009 and that's the only time I ever paid. I hope I'm not charged.

    i got the same email... i paid 99 when i joined GS but this was before the whole pro thing. i never paid an additional 99 to go pro which was the offer back then.

    Is this email legit even? the sender says unknown.

    also how can i check if i am pro or not?

    You could be right. It doesn't give an email address. Sounds risky.

    geez guys... If it was gonna renew pro at $99 it seems unlikely it will now... :)

    Legally, it cannot renew at a higher price because the higher price was not known then and those who upgraded did not agree to it.

    It makes a difference knowing whether or not your Paypal account is going to get hit for 99 or 500 bucks.

    Hey guys,

    Just wanted to clear up some confusion regarding the renewal email that went out. The emails are being sent to anyone who ever paid for a subscription in the past (pro or express). We do not have an auto renewal system. So, if you do nothing, you will not automatically be charged or renewed.

    It doesn't look like an automatic renewal to me. I checked to be sure, because Pro is not worth $499 to me... not now anyway.
