Free version with links and timer

Hi,
I am thinking about making a free version of one of my apps.
The difference with the payed version would be that it opens with a scene with links to my payed apps that will be there for say 5 seconds.
What do you think about this, would you see this as fair, or would you be annoyed to the extreem by this?
Please let me know.
