Anyone know how the Horizontal Anchor and Vertical Anchor actually work (and what exactly they do) ?

I read Tshirt's post above, but I it's not clear what he is saying, I tried placing a 100 x 100 image in a 200 x 200 pixel actor - and then setting then Horizontal Anchor and Vertical Anchors (via change attribute) to various values - and then used a rotate behaviour - but the actor just rotates around it's centre, I was expecting (hoping) to see it's centre offset . . . ?

Cheers in advance for any input.

P.S . . . . . and on a side note, is there a comprehensive list of GS functions/behaviours and rules anywhere, I've seen the cookbook definition list, but it is missing quite a bit of stuff - for example what the math functions do or (as in this post) what something like Vertical Anchor might do, or how to control it . . . ?

@Tynan Can't help you on anchors, but you should check out http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/an-unofficial-gamesalad-textbook/id409726843?mt=8

When I first began, it helped a bunch. I'm the kind of person who not only wants to build the lego castle, I need to understand the individual blocks and their role in the grand scheme.
Its not official, but its more organized and comprehensive than anything GS has published (In terms of written word. The TSB videos are great).

Cheers LG, that looks really useful.

Agreed on the lego castle epistemology !
