How to get game out there, get known?

Where do you advertise your app to help with sales? Apart from YouTube, Facebook and twitter where else do you advertise? How did epig games and tshirtbooth get big?

    I know what you mean. I don't expect to be as big as angry birds, not after that kind if thing. Would be cool tho. But there must be another way to get that little extra downloads.

    As uptimistik said; also a press release can sometimes be worth it's weight in gold, results-speaking; prmac is recommended by a lot of people.

    Actual ads doesn't do anything, in my opinion, unless you're selling well already and the game's name is on people's radar for them to connect with it.

    Getting apps reviews can be beneficial sometimes; press releases to the app review sites might get their attention.
