Hi guys, just starting off my first game project and would appreciate some help on how I can have an arrow actor get "stuck" into a surface or another actor. Basically constraining it to the other. Any help would be appreciated.

thx

constrain it to the actor you want. :)

By just constraining it won't that just snap the arrow to whatever actor on play?

I haven't had time to try yet (won't until end of the day) but what I'm getting at is after the arrow is shot for example I want it to be able to hit the ground and get stuck there if you miss your target at that specific angle, same deal if it hit another character (actor) in the scene. Know what I mean?

    thx!

    Hey there,

Yeah, search on the GameSalad Cookbook on YouTube. It should show you a lot you need to know.
No, it will only attach itself to the actor you want it to constrain to.
Also, I think Darren has a new template that has an arrow movement you might wanna check out.

    (I hope it's Darren lol)
