Problems with the new version

Hi. I just installed the newest update, and It's screwed up the movement of some of my game objects. They move around, an then they stop suddenly. Or they spawn and just dont move at all. This didnt happen with the older version.
I tried downgrading gamesalad, but my projects wouldnt open. Gamesalad said that the project was created with a newer version, and didnt open them.
Can anyone tell me how to fix the movement problem? Or, how can I open my projects using the older versions?
