How to use pre load art at the end of project

Hi Guys

How do you do the optimisation technique of quicker loading times at the end of the project using null textures?

I don't know how to change the current image of an actor to a transparent png.

Also does the transparent null texture png. need to be the correct size of the actor.

Is there a tutorial for this?
