Why does the acceleration have to be so high?

Hi. In my app, there is pit's. I have a rule to say only collide with solid if pit_touch is false. I have the character accelerating down at 500. Now when I preview it my character touches the pit and it seems like nothing happens. Eventually, after a bit of testing and experimenting, I find out that the acceleration is too slow. I bring it up and eventually, after more testing and experimenting, I put the acceleration speed at 10,000. In previous versions of Gamesalad, 500 would be fast enough, but now, you need higher values. Why the change? Is this just another bug?

    hi liamo, sounds similar to the bug that Darren (Utopia Games) had when he upgraded to 0.9.8.

    He discovered a simple fix: delete the value, then retype it in (in your case, 500). Then, fingers crossed, the performance be like it was in 0.9.71.
