Should I wait for universal builds?

I looked on the current roadmap and don't see anything about Universal Builds anymore, am I just overlooking it somewhere? I planned and built my game to be Universal, but now I don't know if I should make a separate HD iPad version or wait until GS supports universal builds.

Is it bad form to release separate iPhone and iPad versions, then pull one of them from the appstore if/when Gamesalad allows us to make universal builds?

I've been against (on the most part) making a separate HD build of my games (Gravitrixx being the exception).

However, I've seen other large, successful companies doing it, and my stance on it is starting to weaken.

I'd certainly *prefer* to have a universal build. It would mean you'd only have to update a game once, and it's better for the consumer!

But for now, in lieu of that, an HD version seems reasonable.

Yeah, im on the same page. I guess I'll just do separate versions like I've done before, I was just really stoked because Universal builds were on the roadmap before.

It won't be much trouble for me since I've built the game to function as a universal, just wondering how customers would react if say, you pull the less popular version of your game and replace it with a universal build when the time comes. Seems those who bought the axed version may not be too thrilled, lol.

Indeed - I hope they get put on again pretty soon!
