Hey Guys,

I came across a game called ZombieSmash and everyone is talking about the splatter engine it uses. I am very interested in something like this but don't know to much about it or even know if I am referring to the same thing...blood splattering at the screen when something dies.

Does anyone know anything about this or if it is an engine, is it compatible with gamesalad?

HI PikPocketStudio, splatter engine is probably another name for Real-time Fluid Dynamics engine. GS doesn't have that. The game physics system that GS is based on is something called Box2D and until that has fluid dynamics, I doubt GS ever will. (A shame, I know).

And even if a Splatter Engine was a plug-in, GS doesn't support plug-ins, either. (Yet?)

The closest you can get would be to use the Particles behaviors; or produce the effects with animation; or even good ol' actors for each "splat". Hope that helps.
