Can we download iOS 5 yet ?

Well it is the 12th, and it sed that on the 12th it would be released ? anyone ?

    I've been beta testing it and its gonna be very nice :) I would love to download the final version myself. Oh well, 11 hours to go!

    GMs for all devices have been available to developers for days - the same as will be released to the public today.

    Hoping the beta lets me over the air update. Anyone heard otherwise. I know my itunes still says i'm up to date but i'm still on the beta and I don't think the public release has been made yet. So really hoping I don't have to wipe my iPhone and do a restore to the GM seed or something.

    Tendrmer it says in the dev center that the gm version of iOS 5 will not be available over the air

    Ive had it for about two months....it's easily the best OS update they have made available since the iPhone launch in my opinion.

    Grr. Well apparently not only does it not update over the air iTunes will not update you if you are on a beta either.

    My god, everyman and his dog must be download iOS5. The download speed is 26k at times, reminds me of the good old days of dial up ; )

    I Download it like in 17 minutes, but the whole process has been more than 45 minutes and counting...

    It's gonna take awhile. Took me about an hour. You have to put your into DFU hard reset and point to the right. ispw file

    IF you where using a beta version before. Itunes will just update you like normal if you were using a non beta 4.3 or later version.

    Yeah, it tells me there is an update to iOS 5 and i need to download the new version of iTunes, but when you go to check for update, iTunes is up to date. Do you know the solution by any chance?

    You have to double tap the home button when the phone is lock mago.

    ps: I heard that there was a terrible car crash in a Chilean Highway like 50 vehicles involved. Dunno if that is near your town but hope all your love ones are okey..

    Looks like the servers are busy as all get up. iOS 5 Update keeps failing, and restore to factory can't connect to the servers because they are busy. Think I'll hold off until Monday, anyway.

    It won't upgrade my iPhone 4 (NOT Jailbroke) just gives me errors. I'm on verizon, anyone else have same problem?

    Yeah, there was a HUGE crush, very new to where I Live so far 5 dead people and a LOT of hurt people :(

    It's very busy. Either wait until tonight, or in another day or 2, and it should be okay. I'm getting errors as well, but I'm on AT&T. The errors come from not being able to connect to the servers because of traffic.

    Well, that's good enough for me! I'm downloading the iTunes update now, then I will get iOS 5 for my iPhone and iPad. Hope everything goes well and I don't get any bugs.

    Yeah Alex I have downloaded the OS many times with no problems. The trouble is actually installing it.

    I am here to say Finally. my Ipad has gone through and updated. Now on to 3 more devices. :(
