draw meter

Howdy,
i have started developing a game in which you have to draw, using ORBZ template, however i would like to be able to have some sort of drawing meter, a bar so i just can draw until it ends the bar. Somehow like chalk n' ball game if anyone is familar to that game, any help would be greatly apreciated
