Changing an Attribute

What I'm trying to do is get a value to decrease every couple seconds (by multiplying). I have tried doing "Change Attribute" in a "Timer" group. I would put the attribute in the "Change Attribute" field and put the attribute * 0.5 in the "To" field but the value is not changing. Any help would be much appreciated.

Try;

-Every XX seconds:
--Change Attribute "AA" to "AA/2"

And make sure "run to comp." is checked.

I did that and its still not working. By the way, what does "Run to Completion" do?
