Performance worse on iPhone 4 than on iPhone 3

Has anyone else had this issue with their game? I primarily test my game on my iTouch 3g. Occasionally I'll look at it on my wife iPhone 4, and up until recently its been fine. However, tonight I pushed a build over to her phone, and noticed the framerate has taken a huge hit, even though it still looks fine on mine.
For the record, I'm not using resolution independence. This is really a strange issue, as I would think the 4 would have a much easier time running anything than a 3g. Just wondering if anyone else had seen this. Thanks!

I got the new iPhone4S and the viewer runs flicking, looks like I am having some drop frames... but the frame rate is at 60fps.
