Iv been trying for the last 2 days non stop trying to make this thing where u put ur finger/mouse on the cannon and a cannon ball appears and u pull it back and then let go and how far u pulled back is how hard an far it will go. iv looked at the wikis, tshirts videos, pool table example by codemonkey, elastic Demo by firemaplegames. i just cant figure it out can anyone walk me step by step or make a demo for me I WOULD LOVE U FOR LIFE. im trying to get this game done but this is holding me back.
Thanks DanielA

Shoot, I'd love to be able to assist with such but I barely have enough time to work on my own projects with what little time I have (and sneak in a peak at these forums between baby diapers or while at the day job).

Anyway, I thought I saw a couple of pinball game apps here at GS. Not sure if they were demos or not. Heck, I didn't even play them but maybe if they were demos and they implemented the ball plunger mechanism...

...it sounds like a similar style mechanism. Worth a search at least.

I take it you've already looked through the cannon tutorial project file that comes with GS. I know it does'nt have the pull back function, but it might be of use?

enjoy! I'll add the bow later (so that it rotates according to the way that you pull back the arrow)
