Jittery playback - camera control + constrain
I only know of the one method to constrain an actor to the main actor, and then control the camera so that you get the 1/3 position onscreen with the main actor. Does anybody know of another method to achieve the same thing?
Tenrdrmer, if you see this, I think you had another method of doing this if I remember correctly. Could you elaborate for me? I'd appreciate the help. If anybody has another method, I'd really appreciate the info.
My problem is with this game Im working on, that when I do the old method, the playback is jittery and jumpy, and damn near causes seizures. Okay maybe not that bad, but it's unacceptable stuttering. It's not the framerate, and otherwise the game is smooth, and when I take the control off of the constrained actor, and put it in the main actor, everything is fine. But having the main actor in the middle of the screen doesn't really give the user enough time to react to the obstacles that come up.
