I don't think it was moot. At best, it was a way to openly bring some ideas on how we can fix this, and at worst, CodeMonkey's post was damage control for any trouble that might be brewing amongst the restless game developers. All in all, it appears we have a light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks everyone, and thanks to CodeMonkey for giving us some insight BEFORE the release, which everyone should recognize as hopefully the start of more ".plan" and dev blog entries.
