How to create a maze.

Is there any way to create a maze with out having to place a wall for each individual wall in the maze

i created a maze in photoshop with everything transparent except the walls of the maze and i saved it as a .png and put it in game salad and was hoping that if i made that collide with my actor it would run it like a maze but that did not work..

and sugestions?

like you said your gonna have to place a wall actor on each wall in the maze

Just overlay invisible "wall" actors overtop of your already added maze image.

i didnt think of that! thanks! but another question.. how do i make the wall parts thiner casue there to thick and i cant seem to make them smaller

And believe me if you want to do it right and with the max precision you're up for a tough challenge.

I'm doing a maze game and I have some levels that are 20 x 30 squares that means that I have an average of about 240 walls to place in each level. I resolved it by hiring a guy that extrapolated the coordinates for each wall in the image I sent him and then I hired another guy that placed all the coordinates in the xml file of each maze scene.

Double click on the wall actor and edit the height and width of it.

Yeah im not to worried about perfection, its just gunna be a simple free game if it get released just to learn game salad i got my actor all ready now ill worry about perfection on my next game
