This is a little off topic but I'm building my new site and I have a couple of questions:
1) How can I eliminate the index.html/home.html from my homepage so that it shows only www . sitename . com?
2) How can I redirect someone that connect to my site with an iDevice to an iDevice optimized site?
Answer in simple word please, I'm not so expert with html coding
I use iWeb but I have access to Dreamweaver if I have to edit the html code.

@ mulcahy: I thought of using wordpress but at first it seemed to me a little complicated so I begun using iWeb.
http://photics.com is an example of that. Also, WordPress supports multiple themes, so you could have a theme customized for mobile devices. Once installed, you can search for new plugins... straight from your wordpress install. Try using the phrase "mobile detect" and some plugins will pop up. You might find what you're looking for over there.
As for the index file issue, that's a server thing. If you notice, I too have http://photics.com and http://photics.com/index.php ...but WordPress & Apache takes care of that. I think it has to do with .htaccess modrewrite settings. Yes, sounds technical, but basically WordPress takes care of this for you... just install it correctly.
I use HostRocket (Link at the bottom of photics.com) as my web host. I'm very happy with their service! Be careful though... WordPress does need to be monitored. Keep it updated and watch out for spammers.
I might not be an expert at GameSalad, but I'm really good at web development. :-)

Even though you can type photics.com/index.php and get my website, you're sent to photics.com. I think it has to do with .htaccess modrewrite settings. (If you're using an IIS server, there's a way to specify your index file.) Yes, sounds technical, but basically my WordPress install takes care of this for me. WordPress can be great, if install it correctly... and even that is not too hard to do.
