repeating bg image - best practice
Just wondering what it the recommend "best" way of setting up a repeating background image to keep the memory use down.
Is it better to have a single actor set to tile, and make it as large as it needs to be? If so, can this actor be too large?
Or is it better to place multiple instances of the actor across the scene to "manually" tile it?
I've been playing around with both ways, and it seems the first option above slightly distorts the image when it is automatically tiled inside the actor area on the stage.
Any advice appreciated.
