App to run in background

Hi All,

Are apps created in GS capable of running in background of iphone.

    Yes. All Apps are, actually. No matter what made them. It's more of an iPhone thing than a GameSalad thing.

    Not true. Try an old app made back from ios3. It doesn't run in the background. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but apps have to be programmed to support backgrounding. All apps built with GS do come with this support though.

    Yes, SlickZero is right. ALL apps are able to run in the background no matter what. Multi Tasking is built right into the OS. However Mr.Rinoy is right too. Multi Tasking was introduced to iOS 4 and above. Apps running in iOS 3 or lower will not have this feature. However a small amount of people still run on iOS and the majority of apps do not support iOS 3 anymore or are just not built with iOS 3 in mind.
