Multitouch actor following.

I'm trying to figure out how to make it so that I have 2 actors. One on the left one on the right. I would like it to work so that if I have one thumb touching one and the other thumb on the other they two actors follow the individual thumbs up and down. Right now I have it where it works as far as each touching and going up and down, but the issue is that after the second one is touched while the first is being moved it begins moving the 2nd the same way.
Any ideas or help would be appreciated. Think I should do something where that actor follows movements on one half of the screen the other follows on the other or is there an easier way to do this?
