ePig Surf Touch Arcade Ad — and General GameSalad Oddities

Ha, I saw an advertisement for ePig surf on the Touch Arcade. I thought that was pretty neat.

Yet, that just highlights the oddity of GameSalad. It seems like a lot of hatred towards GameSalad comes from Touch Arcade. So, why isn't GameSalad advertising over there? There are so many ways to improve the reputation of this community...

• Advertise the creator
• Advertise the marketplace
• Advertise the arcade

Also, a major window of opportunity is closing. GameSalad could be more than just a toy. It could be a powerful HTML 5 developer tool. It only takes just minor changes... export to HTML 5, lose the GameSalad branding, add custom sizes.

It is pretty expensive to advertise on TA and I am not sure what GameSalad would advertising as most of the posters there are not developers.

Now if GameSalad Devs had an ad that advertised a bunch of GS games that would be cool.

Yep my guess would be that. Toucharcade is not a dev forum, but for the actual gamers and players.

That's a fair reply... if it's too expensive on Touch Arcade, GameSalad could advertise on other websites. Yet, are they doing that?

Touch Arcade does have a developer forum. It's not too bad. Additionally, I don't think Touch Arcade is that expensive.

Can't remember the last time i inquired about advertising but the price was way too expensive for my budget.

GS has a bad rep over there for sure.
