iOS 4.0.1 won't activate on my iPod touch!

Hey guys, so last night iOS 5.0.1 beta came out to developers. I decided to try it, so I downloaded it, and installed it on my white iPod touch. After I installed, what ever I did i couldn't get iTunes to "Activate" the iPod. I'm back on 5.0 now, but did anyone else have this problem? It kept saying that it wasn't registered. It is registered, and re-registered on the dev account, "Added to Portal" from XCode, but nothing...
I was kinda stuck on 5.0.1 for a while, (the Restore/Update buttons were hidden) but then I put it in Recovery Mode, and was able to restore back to 5.0.
That is from when it was on 4.0.1, its back now.
But I still would like to have 4.0.1!
