never heard of it ... but found a video of the original... it looks 3d...
I'll let someone else decide if its possible to make it...(I reckon you could make a train cab simulator game, but you'd have to think quite originally to get the visual train track animating in front....maybe have a viewpoint from above, like the original Grand Theft Auto games, then you could design a large track and all the barriers, crossings, stations etc in one large scene....
