Tower Defense games

Hello people,

I want to develop a tower defense game using Gamesalad, does anyone ever tried to develop one? Are there any templates I can use? Games anyone did it?

Yeah, would definitely be do-able. I think both Gilles (http://www.gshelper.com/) and Darren (http://www.deepblueapps.com/) have templates for these off the top of my head.

well yes and no. Even that template isnt a true tower defense. All the towers have to be pre layed in the scene and each a different actor. A true tower defensce wont be possible untill we have tables and arrays.

You can get around the lack of arrays, I set up a pseudo array for a game I'm working on. But it's a long winded way of doing things.

So I'd say you'd be better off waiting for GS to implement them before you start a tower defence game.
