Any way to trigger another sound once previous sound stops playing?

Is there any way to trigger another sound to play once the previous sound stops playing (without using timers)? E.g., Once sound X is finished playing, play sound Y. I don't see a way to do this without using timers. But if anyone knows how to do this, any help or hints would be great.

    I figured as much. Hate to use timers though and I have so many different sounds of different lengths will be a pain in the rear. But I guess that is what I have to do. Thanks for the quick response. As always, you are the best.
