Display text > 1 Million WITHOUT scientific notation

I don't understand why the Display Text automatically goes to scientific notation at 1 million. I think it should be able to post at least up to the hundreds of millions 999,999,999...Players tend to like BIG scores and right now I just downgraded everything in my app so that a typical score is between 3000 and 5,000 per level but would ultimately want 100,000 per level!
It would open up a lot more complex Scoring techniques and I don't think it would be too much trouble for the GS team.
