How to make a loading screen?

How do i make a loading screen that comes up when the gamesalad loading wheel is loading?

    whatever is on the scene when you changes scenes is what shows threw the load. So just show a loading image by having it off screen and changing positions onscreen or having it onscreen from the start with 0 alpha and chang the alpha to 1. Then switch scenes when the image is up
