iAd management

So I was wondering what it would be to have iAd but I have been checking posts in which it says that it mainly just works in USA, UK and mainly countries, so I dont know if it is worth to pay 500 dollars a year for this :S and how will I have to ad iAd to my acc to receive the money and in the app?
