Anyone noticing sluggish load times?

Since the latest update I've noticed a significant change in load times between screens. even the time to update a key value for high score seems to take as much as 1-2 seconds.

This is on all iphones.. from 3gs to 4s.. just very peculiar.. my project is small.. it's under 10mb uncompressed and i'd been working on it for some time before this most recent update, so its fresh in my mind how much more responsive transition times were.

    bump. I'm just wondering if anyone has noticed a change. its just so distinct since the new update that added android support, etc. Not saying that android support is a cause.

    On my latest game, I'm still just under a second between scenes, so I've not seen any increase.

    It could be a problem with the timer that people are seeing. There should be a fix for this within the next 48 hours.

    that would be great. yea i just can't imagine any of the changes i've made to the game would have caused a longer loading time between each scene.. its always been pretty snappy. Just seemed like an odd coincidence.. new update.. significantly longer loading time for the same project.. I could go back though perhaps and load a much older version of the game and compile it and see if that version also reflects the longer load time..

    Was it just the very latest update? If so, just hold out for a day and the Salad fairies will come and solve your problems.

    yea they don't push updates that often.. ever few weeks at most so we'll see... and if my experience is isolated i don't expect any fixes to magically arrive.. i just don't know what i could have done to change this.. the simulator isn't slow.. it performs like it should.. its just on all of the phones themselves.. 3gs, 4 and 4s..

    It will be within 36 hours or so and that fix is part of the release.

    I haven't had this problem but I know other people have. It'll be fixed soon as is the trend. Also, I heard they are going to have a fix live in 36 hours as Ace said.

    I didn't catch the pending update coming soon. Hopefully it's something bigger than just my little problem because, well i don't want to start over or tear the game apart to chase down an issue like this :) because frankly i'm not sure what i could have done to cause it.

    I am in the same position as you... my game was reday and tested, but I wnated to make sure and create an last AdHoc, before that I was asked to do the update..I did :/

    Hopefully the new update will fix the problems, if not, my motivation to start this project again is very low, I invested so much time every day, would be very uncool ...

    oh also i'm noticing slow read times for things like stored high score values and such.. its like 2 seconds or so before displaying data.. it's really weird stuff..

    god i hope that patch comes soon and fixes this stuff.. really makes the game look bad when you load a menu.. then 2 seconds later scores show up in the high score field..

    well it seems like the compiler might have improved the issue. I never saw any kind of patch come along, but i noticed that at least retrieving certain data like high scores is no longer noticeably delated (like 2 seconds) in recent builds..

    Scene transitions seem a bit slower than they used to be, but that is bearable..
