this so far is the battle system i am creating, i have found a work around for lack of database as the actor stores the attack and receives the action based on button and level.

i have experimented with different actors and the attack 1-3 works well with changing characters, the attacks vary based on monster.

"ran into a bit of a problem with the reaction of the ai character, i managed to have him react based on life left as to not have him always use the same attack. i need a better method other then a (timer) based system of reaction as the resources don't offer a very reliable trigger, by that i mean if the game skips a beat then the whole timing system is thrown off, even if for a mili second this is not allowed in a professional quality game."

The art i drew based on some images i ran into while browsing the web so if these images bare a resemblance to any that are yours, i am not trying to steal i am merely using these as placeholders.

any suggestions on how to get the actors to react, i know there is no command where actors communicate but i need a better work around then merely using a timer.

[ i have the character movement on the world map complete, along with the interaction between people and key elements such as clocks, and books.]

i have a semi working time of day change using the osTime template which seems to be working well so big thanks for that.

here is a video of the given "Battle system" i have omitted the reaction by the Ai as i have not properly got it working on a consistent basis.

Thank you for any help and suggestions.

[my apologize for the quality, i had to record the video from my phone as my screen flow seems to have grown legs and walked itself to the trash.]
