Although he managed a runner-up finish on just his second start back at the Castello Masters in Valencia, Kaymer goes into the final event of the season trailing money-list leader Rory McIlroy by nearly 200,000 and knows he must finish in the top-four at this week's Dubai World Championship to have any chance of ending the campaign as European number one. However, he is not wasting any sleep on his go-karting misfortune and claims it will not change his mind about how he spends his time away from golf."It was just unlucky," he explained. "It was not my fault. It was the fault of the other driver. He crashed into me and pushed me into the guys in front."I'm sure I will do it again in the future and have fun. I did it for so many years when I was young and this was my first crash."If Kaymer does manage to outdo rivals McIlroy, Lee Westwood, and Ross Fisher to clinch the Race to Dubai crown he would be the youngest number one since his compatriot Bernhard Langer way back in 1981.
