★★★ Game Loading Too Fast! ★★★

Just made an iPad version of Agro Birds with custom splash and noticed on the device it loads so fast that the splash is only visible for 0.2 seconds...looks odd and wondering if there's any plans to do a min time for the splash screen without making a new scene in the project with the splash on.

I have pre-load art off also (i forgot to do this initially but used our free tool to do it in seconds).

Wondering if this is something the team will address, an option to have a min-max splash screen timer.

    I don't think there currently is a way of changing that. I guess you could try and bog down your Agro Birds Touch To Start screen with invisible actors, thus forcing a longer load time.

    Otherwise, you could have a very similar if not the same 1st screen after the custom splash. Yes there will still be a flash but won't look as odd as just disappearing straight away.

    Why not just put in an extra scene with a timer with the load scene graphics repeated?

    You'll still get the flash from custom splash to your 1st scene. You'll either have to keep that and work out what then looks best or try and bog down the loading so the custom splash stays on for longer

    what colour flash do you get? I would be tempted to drop the image on your load screen as it's so short and just drop in a plain solid colour the same colour as the flash...

    I think the best answer would be to do away with the splash set up as it is now and make scene 1 the splash in the actual project.

    I wish there was an option to have no splash as well, seems we can only have custom ones or the GS animation (why can't we have animation?).

    For no splash just upload a blank or colored img file instead of any with artwork

    Id say as it currently is, the only way to slow things down is place a couple more full sized back ground images behind the current 1st scene background to cause a longer load time.

    i used this free tool and it made my game behave wacky.

    alo maybe you should try making your first scene look like the splash screen. but there may be a white "blink" inbetween :/
