S.O.S. cannot play on my device...could 10 min. ago!

Game works in Preview Player with new edits. Game worked on device before my last set of edits. Last set of edits included using new images and some simple rules and spawns. The game size increased by 0.6 mb. nothing else changed.

now it compresses and loads. i see the loading indicator on my phone then it closes the viewer app and says, "device disconnected." NOTE: this was happening with previous builds, but i could always relaunch the viewer on my phone and play my game, while disconnected from gs on my mac. Now, when I relaunch, it attempts to load for about 25 sec. then closes the gamesalad viewer.

what does this mean? what can i do?

    I realize it can be extremely frustrating. But please do not bump your threads so fast. Its courteous to wait at least an hour if not more like 3 .We are all here to help and quite honestly enjoy helping. But we cannot be expected to commit ourselves to instantly solving your problems. Most of us that are here all the time are here for a few minutes to check up on the forum and then go back o working on our projects. Then we come back to check on the conversations that where going.

    Have you tried the older version of your project on the viewer if it still works and the current one is crashing it then theres something likely wrong with your coding. If not then maybe theres and issue with your viewer xcode project. You might consider downloading a fresh copy and re-installing again. If still no luck your best bet is going to be contacting GameSalad through the contact link at the bottom of the page. You can attach your project file and everything so they can try to help with your problem.

    i apologize for my impatience. note taken. (must say, though, that previous queries are usually responded to and resolved at lightening speed, which is part of why i'm loving gs).
    i have redownloaded and installed to no avail.
    have also submitted to gs.
    am currently redoing edits working from last working version.
    just thought it strange that it works fine on computer - guess i was hoping for a quick fix.

    I have the same problem.
    I can open the viewer on the iphone, GameSalad see it, then when I click on preview it says "Device Disconnected" and on the iphone the viewer close

    Do you have Xcode version 4.2 installed?

    Same issue here, cant build anything - keeps disconnecting... knew i should not have upgraded!

    @toby reinstall the viewer, make sure everything (gs, Xcode, etc) is up to date, if all else fails build a adhoc totest your app.
