Am I missing something? I looked everywhere and can't find part 2 of "How to select overlapping actors in Gamesalad tutorial PART 1" where you teach how to bring the touched one to the top. I've found other similar tutorials, but they don't work with your method in part 1. Thanks.

you just spawn a new actor over the one selected that is at the top of the layer.....pretty basic actually.....put the same kind of controls on the new spawned actor (same image obviously)....i got this working this weekend after about an hour of playing around

Doesn't that just create a ton of actors after a bunch of touches? Im guessing you used a destroy rule too?

OK. Thanks. And thanks to darren, too. I was playing with that template awhile back and was just wondering if you were doing a different method. I was assuming using your part 2 method built on the part 1 video. But if it's basically similar to darrens then it's all good.

If the template is free, Why not make the video. Some people learn from the videos better than the templates. You shouldn't be limited from making a video just cause its like something someone made in a game.

Thanks Tshirt, that will work a bit better for my uses. Kinda bummed I didn't think of it myself once I saw Darrens demo. I guess I need to Think Outside The Box a little more. ;)
