Moving Background to the back!?

Ok, so I already had my game set up with the characters in the front and everything was working fine. I put in the background, still okay. Then I sized it to fit the screen, hit preview, and now my players are gone. I don't know what happened and I am getting frustrated trying to fix it. I'm sure it's something simple I've overlooked, but help is appreciated. Thanks

Try making a whole new "folder" in your layers, put the background actor in it, and then move that folder to the back?

Also, is the background an actor, or did you just drag it in from the images list? That may not be relevent, but it might be a bug that makes it necessary.

I've never used this before, which is why I'm so easily confused by all this. My background is an actor, it appears on the actors list on the home page anyway. I just dragged an image I made into the actor image thing and resized it.

You can also right click the background and select "Send to Back"
