Does anyone here publish books to ibooks?
Im a "non US" and i would like to start publishing to iBookstore , where do i start? can i use my developer account? or do i need to make a separate new account?

Photics had published his GS textbook on there but if i remember correctly didn't like it as its a lot of messing around to do with ISBN numbers or something like that

I know for sure iBooks will not allow you to use your developer Account. I have emailed and been on phone calls with them trying to get them to let me have access to both through one account. It seems absolutely ridiculous that they require you max a new separate itunes account to get to itunesconnect for iBooks. I mean really they are just making things more difficult for anyone who is a developer and publisher. Also you need to be able to get an ISBN for each submission to iBooks. Im not sure if those cost money or not.

This might be worth looking into:

    http://www.lulu.com/publish/ebooks/?cid=nav_ebks

right now you pay nothing upfront and Lulu only takes 10%

ISBN's do cost money, but they're not very expensive.

I have to agree though that no using your existing dev account seems silly. I signed up to the Mac dev thingy and that was easy as pie as it uses my existing iOS dev info.

Silly silly silly. Amazon first then, it seems! :D
