confuse

after I publish andriod I will got 2 file - 1 sign apk 2. unsign apk
and it said unsign apk can upload to amazon right?

question is how can I test unsign apk

and sign apk can upload to android right away so I test by email file to my phone by gmail and It cannot install
so I try to see in cook book it said i have to Zipalign –v 4 yourprojectname-unaligned.apk yourprojectname.apk ... but I cannot find yourprojectname-unaligned.apk

please help

    I am confused about this as well. I got the 2 files...the unsigned should go to Amazon and the signed one you should be able to email to your Kindle Fire and install the app. When I do that I get a Parse Error and nothing happens.

    Has ANYONE been able to test the actual .apk file on their Kindle Fire for testing purposes?

    Mintnomeg The unsigned is the same project its just not signed. For what ever reason Amazon wants that one. The signed one is what you use to test on a device.

    Tenrdrmer have you been able to take the signed app and load it on a Kindle Fire to test?

    I was able to take the signed app and install it on my kindle fire.

    I was getting the parse error. I didn't do any of the zipalign crap and I don't know if that affects it or not.

    What you need to do is download a file manager from the amazon appstore, I used androxplorer and it works great.

    On the email, press save instead of open. Then with the file manager just go to your sdcard folder and then downloads and select the apk.

    I tried the unsigned just for kicks but it didn't work as expected.

    Hey Ericdg123...thanks for the response. I tried exactly what you mentioned but I am still getting the Parse Error...I wonder if I should try and rebuilt it via GameSalad Creator again. I was having the Parse Error when I tried to install the viewer as well and then all of a sudden it worked. So gosh darn weird.

    Yesterday I just got email from amazon that unsigned apk from games alas cannot install do they ask me to resubmit but I don't know what problem it is.
    Can anyone help?

    And I also send signed apk from game salad to my gmail and open on andriod phone it still cannot install
